Draw knife????

John,
One of my favorite pasttimes is making walking staffs, but I need a better way of debarking them.
Would you be interested in making a draw knife?
Something fairly thin, say 3/32" with a 4-5" cutting edge and a 4-5" handle on each end.
Forged finish, of course.:D
If so, I will come up with a detailed design.

I designed this knife a while back that incorperates a draw knife section of blade ( Lousy handle eh,LOL )....

I'll work on a design this weekend.

Pit, the pic of "Arduous" is fantastic. I REALLY like wide blades like that, kind of like a Lobo Short, but I'm more of a specialist. A specific tool for a specific job.

I've been studying draw knife design over the weekend and it seems there is an art to handle geometry. A lot of trial and error.
I may be better served with one of your other pieces.
