Earliest Buck 110??? Costliest Buck 110???

This is my personal best 110, not a first version or anything rare I don't think, but I think it is a 1969, which is the year I was born. Keep in I don't usually do online auctions or buy much of anything online. I found this 110 at a flea market that gets a lot of traffic for $20 dollars! I "think" the only sharpening was original from the factory and the bolsters cleaned up real nice with no scratches under the patina. I do prefer to leave the patina, but this one looked like it had been wet so I cleaned it up real good. Here is a before pic.
I almost didn't buy it because it didn't say 110, so I was thinking it might be a fake. The bad part of the story, next to the 110 was another Buck knife, a fixed blade in a sheath with a price tag of $70.............we had been on vacation and spent a lot of money and I hated to spend another $70 on a knife so I didn't even bother to look at it to see what it was so I wouldn't be tempted. It still haunts me wondering what that knife was.
