Vintage carving set made by Anton Wingen Jr. in the '50's or '60's, with (most likely) mammoth ivory handles and deep gold & green etchings.
In like new condition in original display box.

Do you have a good closeup of the butt end of the handles? They are large enough and with the cross cut visible it should be easy to tell if it is mammoth, as long as the picture shows the Schreger lines clearly. Sometimes you have to position them in the light just right to get the Schreger lines to really stand out.

Sure looks like mammoth to me. I forgot about that original thread.
