eBay Why Do People Buy a 112 from the 90’s or 2000’s for More Than New

With over 20,000 posts and you're just now getting a 112? My mind is blown you could resist all the enablers that long. 🤯 😂 My hat's off to your will power. I've been here a tiny fraction of that time and have four already and that's with one recently sold. I'm not sure if I'm doing something right or something wrong. 🤔 😂
For a long time I didn't like the way it looked compared to the 110.
About a year ago I was fishing with my brother & his best friend who showed me the 112 he was carrying ( I think I had my orange 110LT and stag 305 on me ) and there was something I really liked about it.
That started me paying attention to the 112 and I have noticed a bunch of nice examples posted here the past few months which really sold me.

Thanks for sharing that. It's interesting how perceptions can change over time. I bought a Benchmade long ago, but was never an enthusiast until after a trip to Zermat a few years ago where I got a couple SAKs at the gift center at the top. That triggered an interest, lead to BF, and many more knives including joining BCCI and getting a bunch of Bucks.

Hickory and steel if you really want to go down a VERY nice rabbit hole get a 500 and/or 532...Both are 3" blades or close a little slimmer and pocket friendly.
I make exceptions for knives like the 110 & 112 which are more of a folding belt knife, but for a pocket knife I prefer much smaller stuff.
If I'm carrying a knife that size it's going on my belt and a much smaller pocket knife ( often one of my 305's) in my pocket organizer.

I can't say I'll never find myself interested in the 500 Duke , but they're not on my radar at this point.
