OAL: 8 5/8
blade length: 4 1/2 inches cutting length/ 4 3/4 inc. ricasso
steel: 1084
hardness: well,... hard. I tempered it at 395o
hafting: rag micarta, I guess, with NS pins
Flat ground and hand sanded.
The deal is, this is a test knife for this sort of micarta, this batch of 1084, and doing a large lanyard hole; which is in stainless. My stamp came out poorly on this one and I didn't finish it out (the micarta that is) all the way. I just wanted to see what the stuff was like to work with and additionally, I did some test cuts with the knife. Anyway, its a nice edc for someone. I'm just looking for some belt money really.
