Buck301, Iron River and Small Seb21, not that there’s much cutting chores, but just to have ‘em with me is a sheer pleasure. You know.... to keep good tools.
After months, the Wayfarer 247 got bumped by the new Ferrum Forge Stinger in carbon weave.
Considering we are still quarantining ourselves and there's 3 feet of snow, it's great to have something that just disappears in the pocket. I didn't even remember it was in my shorts when I hit the sack.
Great action, loving Nitro-V, and everything is centered, balanced, and ground right. My only minor complaints are that a quick blast of alcohol seemed to discolor or leave a coating on the blade even after washing it off with very hot tap water and drying with a microfiber.
The only other thing is it doesn't have a lanyard hole. But a hole would have added length and probably increased the price a lot to machine around the carbon.
As always, Ferrum Forge pays attention to all the little details and this is another winner! If anyone got the marble carbon, let's see it.
Dang, I'm a sucker for a folding dagger and it looks like the blade sits low enough when closed that the other edge could be sharpened I'm gonna have to pick up a Ti handled one as a personal project
