I did have plans for today which included a walk and applying the glazing compound to the window sash over in the wood shop, but got involved instead in digesting the post-stump cruise sawlog volume report from our forester relative to the timber trespass on our acreage up north. Close to 11,000 Bd Ft of mostly prime Sugar Maple and over 15 cord of firewood from 71 trees gone, thanks to the negligence of our new neighbor. Ouch! I spent a good part of the day doing calculations of my own and emailing back and forth with the forester as I put things together to extract a proper settlement with the logger and landowner.

My plans also included my M390 581 Barrage for IWB carry walking and working and actually getting dressed well before noon. Instead I was still in what I slept in after lunch, took a long hot early afternoon shower, and switched knives to the two I carried and posted starting Monday when I picked up the new CruCarta M2. We're getting somewhere as we prep toward resolution of our trouble up north, but I kinda went with comfortable wear, comfort food, a bit of spa time, and comforted myself with a couple knives I like a lot.

I'm not typically one for sweets, but the wife requested FroYo from the local spot for mother's day and sent the kids there, and they happen to have Taro, so I just couldn't resist riding along and getting some (plus who's gonna pay if dad doesn't go ;)). You can see I still loaded my cup with almonds and walnuts though 🤣
