Talk about overkill, those poor donuts never stood a chance.View attachment 2857564Not the best for starting the day but it sure tastes good![]()
Sounds like a busy day, by any chance you can rearrange your day a little bit, there’s always tomorrowToday’s honey-do list includes, but is not limited to: trim bushes, cut the lawn, wash the dog, make dinner reservations / send invites for the wife’s bday dinner, straighten up the garage, wash the motorcycle and sneak in a few miles of shredding on the mountain bike. But first, a knife pic!

I figured I'd make it a Wooden Wednesday and got out my Pakkawood Police after deciding to pocket that one, but grabbed the Endura and Delica as well and set them by my chair for fidgeting and admiration when I wasn't otherwise occupied with various tasks today. Later, when the light was right I went for some group pics of my little KC Exclusive family.

One of the things that really attracted me to these knives and led me to owning three was the juxtaposition of their bright smooth stainless spines and hardware contrasting with their laminated wood scales. IIRC it was our friend @abbazaba who posted pics highlighting just that some years ago that ending up sending me down the path toward accumulating these three. With those pics in mind...

Of course the HAP40/SUS410 laminated blades had a lot to do with that too.
Work all day tomorrow. Bike’s washed, waiting for the dew to dry so I can move on to the yard.Sounds like a busy day, by any chance you can rearrange your day a little bit, there’s always tomorrow![]()
Thanks, friend!. The wood had a really dull look to it when each came new, but the scales picked up a really nice luster in very little time just from handling.Just beautiful!
Thanks, Ro! I was not a fan of back locks for a long time, but picked up an FRN bright blue Delica/orange Endura pair on sale cheap at KSF years back. The more I used the Endura in our woods and fields up north for its bright, homing beacon color the more I warmed to it (and FRN too, BTW). I had no hesitation picking up these when they caught my eye and now have more back lock Spydies and Al Mars too. As long as I can adjust the pivots so the blades drop to 90° for easy one-hand closing in the field I'm good with 'em.Nice. I'm a fan as well.
