Posting for yesterday, I went into my Russian drawer to make it a Cheburkov Frieze Friday while I cleaned up the wood shop a bit, finish sanded the cabinet doors, and got the first coat of polyurethane on them on the sheetmetal bench back in the house basement. It was also our youngest son's 36th birthday and I enjoyed watching the tracking as his present arrived at his door on the appropriate day in the next state, sending him the UPS delivery pic so he could beat the porch pirates to it, though it was certainly weighty and bulky enough to be safe.
I took some pics under the work lights in the shop that didn't show this knife off well, so I got some outdoors later in the day.

I like the handle milling on this one a lot, both for its appearance and its feel in hand. The big, cubic lanyard bead is a good match for the knife's look and coloration, and while it's beaten up the clip a bit I don't much mind as this has become the Cheburkov available for work duty.
