Ha
Ha !
Finally a knife I have !
The first one the sharpeninng angle was stupid obtuse like 30 some degrees on one side . Maybe more . I never could understand how such a thin blade cut so poorly .
Last year I found I had a definite use for it at work and so reprofiled the heck out of the sharpening angle and
Viola !
These CAAAANNNNN cut stuff !

I got so excited I bought a second one to put a serrated edge on . The sharpening angle it came with was much more useful ! The first one I bought way back a decade or more .That figures doesn't it ? The one I am going to serrate has the good edge . . .

Cool , fun , little knife ! Titanium and everything .

a Vagabond and a Mini Freek walk into a bar... ;)

Got rid of the black finish on the Mini Freek today; replaced much of the hardware with Ti, flamed the rest bronze, and polished the liners. It's a subtle change in pics, and ruins the collector value, but looks much improved in hand plus was fun to tinker with.

Picked up a Vic Classic to match somewhat, and swapped the scales onto a discontinued Vagabond that I recently snagged (a long time favorite model of mine).

I mentioned before that I never was really big on Ultem, but oddly the inspiration for these purchases was some butterscotch amber beads that I found of my late mother's. Today I added some amethyst from her collection as well. I can't express how much sentimental value this adds.

I might have found my around-the-house combo for the summer.

You always have great photos man

Another IWB carry in light shorts today--slim, smooth, and relatively light. This GM3 has a lot going for it--M390 blade, full Ti handles with a nested steel lock bar, mostly open back construction, and a jimped butt spacer with integral lanyard attachment that matches the nicely domed blade spine. Great flipping action and the large nail nick is a nice complementary touch. This is a sub-3.5" knife that even a large knife guy can like.
