Enjoying a Manix² Monday and had to stop at Starbucks to grab a Salted Caramel Mocha Strato, so so good!
Along for the ride I've got my trusty Spyderco Manix² with its Spy27 blade. I haven't carried it for a while, so I had to answer it's call to be carried.

Does anybody know anything about Monterey Bay Knives. I am really interested in the Wolverine. I have one that came up for sale locally and I am wondering if I should jump on it.
Anybody have any insight?

Say hello to Elmer 😆
Actually I don’t know his name but he’s one cool cat Came right up to me and chilled. He was pretty big I wanted to pet him but big enough to remove your hand if he wanted to so I thought better of it lol. It’s amazing how prehistoric he looked and beautiful.
Looks prehistoric, moves so very slowly, yet will outlive all of us. John

Super boring Monday for me here, spending 6 hours at a "continuing education" class in a hotel basement conference room for my Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License. I did six hours online last week that was mostly off-topic and poorly presented. The "instructor" today just read the powerpoint at auctioneer speed to help get us poor fools out the door as quickly as possible.

The purpose of these classes, provided by registered presenters--and there are slews of them--is not education, but for them to make a buck and for us contractors to comply with legal requirements (for the State to make a buck). I'm basically retired, but felt I ought to keep up my credentials just because or should some consulting, construction management, or project opportunity arise that might pique my interest. A hundred bucks each for online and in class sessions, another C-note for the state license, then another Benjamin for the HIC remodeling fee--4 bills that would buy a pretty nice knife. Hmmm....

Anyway, I carried my super light, super sharp CF Cheburkov Leader today, but didn't dare take it out of pocket lest I open a vein while squirming in my seat in class. 😧
