Thanks Bro! It's a great little knife. The best part of the pic was the rum..... yum!I like the compositions of your photos. Every time you post the PITS, I end up throwing mine in my pocket the next day. Ha! Such a nice knife and your photos make it look even nicer!
This is hollow ground right? How is it?
Cool! I haven’t seen one of them little tanks for awhile.
Awesome breakdown. Thanks man!Yes. It has a nice hollow grind. Overall, quite good. They tried to accommodate a lot here and that doesn't always go as well as it does here. For instance, they've got an opening hole, front flipper, and something like a regular flipper. The regular flipper is actually a little hook that lets it work with minimal material. The only catch is that if I'm messing around and not paying attention, I sometime get my finger caught between the tabs when opening without thinking. That's as much user error though. I just have to think about whichever method I'm using.
The same is true for the ergonomics. The contoured Richlite looks good but also feels good. They do the half-choil thing like a lot of the Spyderco knives but clearly give two different choices of hand position. Going under and holding it as a three-finger knife works well for me. Four fingers with one in the choil feels awkward but that's a feature of my hand. (A lot of the Spyderco knives fail to fit my hand that way too.)
I haven't taken it apart yet but I'll post pics in the disassembly thread when I do. I've seen more Kizers running on multi-row bearings lately and they never bother to advertise it. So I'll be curious to find out if they did that here.
I love the 707. Wish I'd never sold mine or I could find another. What's a good equivalent, anyway?
Looks like a zt0640 or a Firetac would fit the billI love the 707. Wish I'd never sold mine or I could find another. What's a good equivalent, anyway?

Forgot to mention, no liner locks. I've never gotten along with them. Even tried a Small Sebenza. If they made that with an Axis type lock it'd be a winner for me.Looks like a zt0640 or a Firetac would fit the bill
