edge grind

I just ordered a BK2. Is the edge grind convex or a bevel?
Just want to know as I'm learning different methods of sharpening.

The edge grind is a bevel. There's nothing to stop you from convexing it if you want, but the bevel it comes with works very well.

Congratulations on the new BK-2, it's one heck of a knife. Whatever you're expecting, I think you'll find the BK-2 actually exceeds it.
