Engraving by Danae from Australia.

So my career in this started with me as a kid having fun with Calligraphy.

Archery club decided my hand writing was so good they could save some money buying me an engraving pen and getting me to write on their trophies.

Googled engraving and found all this cool scrollwork and was instantly hooked, got a job in town engraving trophies etc, found a teacher to show me engraving scrollwork not too far away.

Met knife makers Wayne Saunders, Keith Fludder, Troy Hageman & Corin Urquhart at Ironfest who bought a folder I'd engraved and welcomed me to the knife world, invited me to a hammer in... Keith and Corin made a knife I drew up while I was there and I went home and spent a day per side engraving the design into the brass.

Oh, and let me apologize for my photography skills. A permanent dedicated light box, tripod, camera, photoshop skills... are one of the things I plan to work on in the future.

I made some big mistakes making that sheath for the Brass handled knife, but learning is good (especially if you do it on things you are keeping)

Been having a go at something different... this is Solid sterling silver cut out of sheet with my jewellers saw and drilled and engraved, I think it would come up better if I blacken it but it had a nice sparkle to it as is. I thought I would try making a few of these and selling for around $200 aud. I also have a two black lip pearl shells and one yellow lip (might be just plain white) shells I could cut to shape and engrave too.

Gorgeous!! I always had an interest in etching steel. I wish you could teach me. maybe give me a few pointers on how to get started? I'm just looking to do stuff for myself.
 
I made these Titanium dogtags, engraved them in Bulino style and anodized them recently.

The wolf was a photo, the girl isn't an original design, just something for me to wear around... practice plate.

And a Sterling Silver pendant I cut out of sheet and engraved on a poppy red satin cord I thought looked cool.

you are a true artist. i have an idea that has been bounching around for a while now, i will get it to you shortly.
