The Escort is my take on a straight forward EDC folder. It is a fairly beefy folder without being chunky. Tip up or tip down, with plenty of wide jimping that doesn't bite into the hand and cause a "hot spot". The handle is very comfortable in any grip. With the drop point blade, this is a real all around folder, work, play, self defense, whatever the task. I think it looks good with the black blade, blasted Ti handle and bright screws and pivot.

I think you'll sell more if you got rid of the black and made the blade and clip stonewashed.

Definitely. Or go with the shiny DLC finish like on the upcoming Bolt (it looks really great in person, hard to capture in a photo):

I hope that happens soon. The Escort is on my short list of knives I'd really like to get this year, but the Ki4448 is already available and might have to come first.
 
All the indications I was given was availability around SHOT or shortly there after. I am hoping this means February or March.
 
The idea of multiple finish options is being discussed. So, we have that going for us, which is good.
