I'm going for a walk in the bush with my boy, an ESEE 5 and a rifle. I'll post some more photos when we get back.

We ended up going to see a tower I just built for our irrigation automation. We had a good time tracking kangaroos and looking for interesting rocks. We don't have many hills around here so it's a treat to be up "high"

We put some growing cactus in bigger pots this arvo. I think my young fella is taking a shine to my IZULA, he asked that we use it for the jobs.

Seeing some #5s over the last couple of pages motivated me to get a pic of one of mine.


I've posted this before...

To me, it seems like the "5" is kinda' the "black sheep" of the Family, not really sharing the popularity of the Izzy, 4, 6, or Junglas. Despite that, it's still my favorite in the ESEE line-up, with this particular one being my favorite in my ESEE line-up...

A nice looking well used knife there mate, the 5 is definitely one of my favourites too. I mainly use knives for hunting and for food preparation. But I can see the 5 being good for working with wood too.

I share your love for the 5, the wright makes me pick other Esee's to come with me on my trips. But the 5 is ALWAYS a big fun knife to use
