Getting ESEE fever. I don’t own one yet. My collection has gaping holes, and this is one. The 4 looks like a good place to start. Love the orange scaled one.

sonofwilfred sonofwilfred where in the "outback" are you, if you don't mind? My folks lived in Alice Springs 1968-70.

craytab craytab quite the ESEE collection. But that Spruce Goose mug really caught my eye

Alice is more outback then me 🤣 I'm western NSW on the Murrumbidgee river. The 4 is a great choice. My current favourite and newest ESEE is the 6HM.

If you ever make it to the Willamette Valley in Oregon, the Spruce Goose is housed at Evergreen Aviation Museum in Mcminnville, along with a bunch of other cool stuff.
That's right they moved that thing. I used to live just north of Long Beach, CA where it was housed it in that dome right by the Queen Mary. Can't believe HH got that monster off the water for a few hundred yards.

Thanks for the reference.

My ESEE6 handle (the factory one) is blocky and doesn't feel good in hand. Which aftermarket scale offers better ego while being wallet friendly?

Thanks. Do the TKC micarta handle and g10 handles have identical profile? Looks like there are far more g10 options.
I can’t say for sure, mine are all G10, but I doubt they’d change a thing just because they started making them with micarta.

*edit…I think I misunderstood your question.
If it seems like there’s more G10 options, it’s because they’ve been using G10 longer. Honestly, this is the first time I noticed TKC micarta scales for sale on their site.

Hi ESEE fans. (Me too). Can anyone tell me why the ESEE 5 is more money than the 6??
Thank You. 👍🤝👍

John I was thinking the same thing just the other day. I put it down to the 5 having thicker steel and a different blade grind. Maybe tooling costs is the factor. But I'm just a farmer, so if someone actually knows I'm interested too.
