if you were to pick 4 tools (other than the blade) to have on your ideal SAK what would they be?

Besides the main blade I would want:

1.) the small blade (very handy for delicate cutting tasks)
2.) the bottle opener (not for bottles but to use as a screwdriver)
3.) the can opener/combo tool (I use it often for the phillips screws on the back of computers)
4.) awl

It won't surprise you to hear that I usually carry a Spartan or Soldier for EDC :D . The scissors are a nice feature too so the Climber also belongs to my favourite SAKs.

I like wine!!

1) corkscrew
2) flat screwdriver/bottle opener
3) scissors
4) can opener...

but my deal is a Climber in Alox model.

Bitdriver+screw bits
Pliers
Scissors
Combotool

(coincidentally, the CyberTool 34 is my most used SAK)

Philips screwdriver
bottle opener for the flat screwdriver
pliers
pen

I love my mini mechanic

Combination (combo) Tool - which combines flat screwdriver, can-opener, bottle cap-lifter and wire stripper in a single half length tool.

Corkscrew

Phillips screwdriver - the in-body type which allows use in-line and at 89degs for more torque.

Magnifying glass - good for generally examining things - used to laugh at this until age caught up.

Essentially my EDC Victorinox Scientist -

I've EDC this model for over 17 years.

To go along side with the large blade I would want;

1. Small blade
2. Bottle opener
3. Can opener/combo tool
4. Saw

My picks Other than the large blade would be:

1) Saw
2) Awl
3) Can Opener
4) Bottle Opener

Guess that leaves me with my favorite model, the Farmer.

1. Philip's screw driver (cross head driver)
2. Lockable flathead screw driver (no requirement for a cap lifter)
3. Metal Saw/file
4. Lockable Main Blade

1- Scissors
2- In line Philip's screw driver
3- Magnifying glass
4- Ink pen
Sounds like a Yeoman!!!!
