Been wanting another one of these for years and finally was able to acquire one. It’s been on layaway for a few months and was just able to make the last payment. She just arrived and a beautiful Strider example with no lock stick , perfect detent with action smooth as butter with a hint of silk
Strider SMF Performance Series Ti Magnacut. Years ago I had one identical except it had a colorful laser etched Skull on it and had always wished I got a more sterile one like this. Also Years ago Mick would hand tune the performance series and hear say is he doesn’t any longer . But I must say this one is about as perfect as can be and feels like it was tuned by him. Anyway so glad I added another to my modest arsenal and couldn’t be happper.

Just received this rare (yes, really rare) Gen 2 Police ATS-55 PE Black G10 Police model with a transitional 3/4 circular 3 screw clip mount made (according to SpydieWiki) only in 1998 to add to my Spyderco collection:

And here are a couple of photos comparing the Gen 2 (ATS-55), Gen 3 (VG10) & Gen 4 (K390) G10 versions of the Police which has grown in blade & overall size with each generation:

Personally, I like the Gen2 G10 in terms of size the best.
