How are you liking this knofe? Sold out pretty quick! I missed my shot on the first run unfortunately.
It's currently my daily carry. Perfect for small everyday tasks around the house, but the blade has enough heft that cutting down boxes isn't an issue. I did have to break it down and lube it up since it wasn't very smooth out of the box. My only gripe is that the micarta scales are bit thin for my liking, but it's a small knife so I try not to fault it for that.

Decided to help support a knife dealer with a portion of my *stimulus* check by ordering a Microtech UTX-85. This model wasn't my first choice (wanted the OD green, stone-washed drop point blade) but ended up with the "tactical" drop point blade model. First OTF but not first auto. Bought it, mostly, for grins and giggles.

I wanted to reply to my post to say that I received the knife on Friday and it's very well finished but it was so hard for me to open and close (especially close) that I had to return it. I don't think it's outside of the range of what's acceptable for these knives but the button relative to handle size is poorly placed for *my* hand or maybe I'm simply too weak for this style of auto but it is a seriously nice knife otherwise. I bought it from BladeOps and wanted to give Andy and them a shoutout for their excellent customer service with the return. I'm sad to see it go but it would have ended up not being carried and that was the reason for the purchase.

Just picked up this Dawson forester in 3v. My first Dawson and i'm really impressed with the customer service and the knife. I’m a lefty and sent them a quick email before I ordered asking if I could pay extra for a lefty sheath. They custom made a lefty for me at no charge. Honestly I am surprised I don’t hear more about them on here.

I just added my first Buck custom shop model 110 to my collection. This beauty features nickel silver bolsters, S30V blade, finger grips, and buckeye burl inserts. The warm earth tones in the burl create an almost camo effect and the fit and finish is excellent.
I also acquired a custom made sheath made for a Buck 110 from a local leather smith. It is made from Asian spitting cobra and goat leather. The guy had it priced super cheap at 20 bucks for clearance as he wasn't really in it for the money, just as a retirement hobby. So I thought "Why not?". I think the two items together make a nice package in my collection.
