Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I have a pair of Tanto Umnumzaan and Inkosi as well, and I never looked for the difference in blades. I'll have to pull them out sometime and look.

Dove into the deep end with We knives! I bought the Vision R a few weeks back and was impressed with the build quality for the money. Then Black Friday happened and I purchased everything else in one shot lol. I had been eyeing these designs for some time, but had hesitated with WE due to them being made in China. However, I’m happy that I pulled the trigger! Reate is definitely better build quality, but they‘re also a lot more money.

WE - Vision R - SNECX - CPM 20CV - Bronze Titanium
WE - Evoke - Ray Laconico - CPM 20CV - Flamed Titanium
WE - Esprit - Ray Laconico - CPM 20CV - Black Titanium & Marble Carbon Fiber
WE - Elementum - CPM 20CV - Black Titanium
WE - Banter - Ben Petersen - CPM S35VN - Black Titanium & Marble Carbon Fiber

I did a similar thing - I started with the Vision R SNECX when they were first released. But then around the Black Friday sale I added the Banter in CF, a Kitefin in gold Ti and a Kitefin in Blue Ti. The build quality and materials seem very good. (same with my Civivi and Sencut knives made by WE).

Those blue Kitefins are just too pretty to ignore!

Just came in today from Amazon. Kizer Comet 154CM, thin blade stock, decent liner lock, difficult to open sometimes as degree of angle on flipper is everything, but really nice overall. Dig the denim micarta, however it's far too thick for my taste. I like a very thin profile on my knives and frames/scales. Still, think it's a keeper for now at least. Will likely upgrade to something else soon, but it's worth carrying for a few weeks. Really wish CRK had better, more vibrant scale/ frame insert options. That's what I really want, but they're so visually unappealing.

I don’t know if I’d say it feels like a blanket. But it’s definitely comfortable and fills the hand nicely. And I love the smooth feel of the glass-blasted titanium.
Alright cool. Yeah that glass blasted finish looks real nice, I haven't seen one with it up close yet.

Gotta ask, what’s that little fixed blade? Been eyeing some Ecos that look similar
These are all similar in use case, so in case you're wondering: Ban Tang Knives/ Shivworks Clinch Pick, Ban Tang Knives SAF, Windy Raven Knifeworks Corax, Zulu Bravo Surgo all in their double edge variation.

Also, here's the philosophy of use according to Shivworks

I ordered this a few months ago. It was just delivered and I consider it my last acquisition for 2022.

It's an 11" GoGun "folding Pocket-chete" that I bought purely as a curosity.

The handle is a bit blocky and uncomfortable but I can see how it would be useful to carry folded in the belt sheath that is provided while camping or doing yard work where it could be useful.

They're currently sold out (mine was among that last batch received from Germany in 2022 ) but here's more info about it if you're interested:

The GoGun Pocket-chete.
