My Cold Steel SR1 was delivered today. As promised, here it is. It lives up to the all the previous billing:
There is no denigration in fit, finish, and quality between this iteration of Cold Steel, and my older-versions. The SR1 is not a do-everything blade, but it will handle many outdoor/survival tasks well. A Recon 1 is now up on the 'want-list'.

Just the lil one came today, another titanium with holes 
I've been trying to pick one of these up for for a while now(new) and finally got one from REI of all places and with their 20% winter deal I'm pretty happy. This is the 1st time that I'm noticing the pivot screw is from the clip side on a Benchmade.

An after Christmas and before New Years gift arrived from

, much appreciated! Doc and I have been bouncing back and forth as he tried to find something that would suit me, but I just keep tying a lanyard on and sending them home, but thankful to get to handle them in person so it's a win win...kinda 
but, now Doc's found one that 'should' stick around, a small Ritter with Magnacut and a Dundee, both very nice and sharp too. Thanks again sir, these certainly have made the end of 2023 a nice way to close the year out and prepare for the new year!
