This was a design taht a customer recently came up with and had us refine and make for him.
He was looking for a tough survival sword, something fast enough to clear brush but still powerful and tough enough to chop/split wood and handle survival tasks. The resulting 22" blade weights in at 1.4kg and with a 29.5 OAL. A lot of the weight is in the guard and the extended pommel which acts as a counterweight for the relatively tanky blade. As a result of this the sword actually handles really well and is really fun to use. It has a performance grind, high satin finish and a black micarta handle for grip and durability.

If you guys would like some more pictures, let me know and I'll dig some up.
Also if you have any other questions feel free to let me know.
Take care,

Here's a video of it doing some rough chopping. It's worth noting that the blade was unfinished at this point and weighed 1.7kg. With another 300g off the blade you can imagine the difference in feeling.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! We're getting a lot better at this whole sword thing
