I replaced the plastic handle on this Okapi with actual liners and covers instead of the monolithic wood handles I usually carve. Took some fall-themed pictures of it:

A couple of years ago I worked the harvest for ADM. I was trying to wiggle my way into their boat division on the Illinois River (Artco). My plan failed and I ended up shoveling more corn than I ever thought possible.
Strange thing is ADM has a strict “no knife” policy on their property. I carried this stout little jewel nonetheless and it will always remind me of fall and harvest small but capable, I trimmed the “tail” of a tarp the circumference around one of those huge piles of corn. The edge wasn’t butter knife dull at the end of the day which surprised me
