Fancy knives - WARNING: non-CPK content . . and it gets worse

Around a decade ago, the then-girlfriend said “why don’t you display some of these knives”, and I started putting some of the fancier ones (not super expensive, but prettier ones, less likely to be actually used) in display cases.

Fast forward to the present, and the girlfriend is long gone, but the knives largely remain and indeed have multiplied. I’ve been meaning to properly photograph and document them for some time. Frankly, that never happened, but the need to pack up the house and provide some insurance details forced me to do a quick cellphone photo inventory. So, I thought I might as well share on BF, as if I tried to show them to anyone in my regular life, they’d start backing towards the exit before I was even halfway through.

What does this have to with CPK? Nothing, really. My CPKs are firmly lodged in the user chest, even if some of them are quite pretty. But this is the Forum I most frequent these days, and there’s one general style of knife that really energizes Nathan (shares a name with the Thin White Duke), so I thought he’d at least want to see what I have in that department. Besides, didn’t someone once post something here asking about knife storage . .

I’ll start with probably my favorite custom knives - a Ben Tendick tanto and a Jair Klutchcouski take-down damascus bowie. The details on both are exquisite.

Wow! Color me envious! That is a gorgeous collection. Glad to see that you have them in some kind of display setup, because it would be a shame not to display those. I am sad not to have mine on display, and my collection is not even a patch on your.

I should have known you were a man of culture. You can tell alot about a man by his knives and guns.
I see you have some Malanika knives as well as Fiddlebacks. Fiddleback( Cohutta has thicker handles so I'm partial), CPK, Malanika, etc., are some of the best in their respective fields. I wish the Fiddlebacks family of knives makers would use cru wear, magnacut, and 3v, they would be damn near perfect for my uses.

Excellent collection brother!
