Faviorite Spydie.

Delica '98
Micarta Calypso Jr.
I might be buying a plainedge Endura '98 or a plainedge Native. It's hard to choose a favorite. If my knives were women, Jerry Springer could devote a whole show about my unfaithfulness to any one of them!

Old model Endura. I like the plastic clip. It's easy on my pants.

1.Calypso Jr black micarta plain edge
2.Edura or Delica, my definition of a bargain!
3.Bob T C15 in plain edge
4.though its not out yet I would also say the Dyad, just because it's the best of both worlds.

Aluminum Civilian - IMO, most unique and thoughtfully designed defensive production folder ever.

But my Pro-Grip is the perfect beater.

Heck, I love all my Spydercos

Danelle,

I'm glad to make somebody happy.

Now that I'm on your good side . . . (just kidding!).

On to the Spydie knives:

1. Plain edge Big Calypso (Don't have one yet)
2. Plain edge Military (Don't have one yet)
3. Starmate (Don't have one yet, sigh!)

More realistically,

1. Small Centofante (Sent off to be repaired)
2. Old aluminum Terzuola [I'm with you, red mag] (Sent off to be repaired; I tend to use the life out of the knives I love.)
3. Endura98 (given to my wife for her V-day present. Now I want it back.)

Sadly Spyderless,

Slowjocrow

A tie between my newer Centofante and old model Police, plain edge.

Live free and buy. It's the American way.

Daily Carry: old style Dragonfly with serrated edge.

Favorite in looks and handling: micarta handled Calypso Jr.

Unfortunately, work clothes do not always allow the Calypso Jr.!!!

My wish list goes something like this . . .

1. Calypso Jr. micarta
2. Dragonfly stainless
3. Jess Horn 3/4 micarta
4. Rookie G10

. . . and I hope to get my grubby little hands on the 1st one very soon.

Someone was talking in another post of a "smaller" Military . . . I think the Rookie (with some minor mods) might fit the bill. First off it would be great with a flat ground blade.

Regards, HILTON

(yes, this is a cut-and-paste from Paul Davidson's post. What can I do if I agree with someone totally...)

My Black Micarta Calypso, Jr. and my Red, Serrated Old-style Endura (thanks Marion!)

Hopefully a micarta Dragonfly will be up there too at some point (hint, hint)

Hello,

I use to really enjoy the Military but...
I think the Wegner Junior is really an excellent knife.
The more I use it... the more I really like it !

Cheers,
JM

Funny how many Calypso Jr. micartas are on this list (count another one -- it's my fave, too. 2nd fave - endura). But in the real world, the steel-handled version outsells the micarta version. We are a group unto ourselves, it seems

Spooky about the BM Calypso Jnr, it also my daily carry knife and has been ever since I bought it.

I used to alter my carry knives every few days but no more.

At least not until the Lightweight version hits and the Bob Lum small version WE (read me) NEED more lefthanded knives

I said in an earlier post to this thread that I would keep you posted as to my favorite after my Military arrived. Well, I've had it a week and it just keeps getting better and better. It is now my favorite, far and away, although the Endura98 and Delica98 still rank very high, especially as value for money paid.
