Favorite rough rider?

I've only got one it is a yellow handle stockman. The fit and finish are really good.i think I will be getting a few morr

The half hawk, a reproduction of the Case Loom Fixer, which Case made from the ~1930's till the early 70's. With its large ~sheepsfoot and long thin pen blades, for me it has the perfect blade combination.

It would have to be this RR 479 Sowbelly with Brown, Saw Cut Bone, covers. The fit and finish is first rate with no chips, cracks, or gaps. The 440A blades take and hold a great edge. It's a very solid knife and of course the Sowbelly frame makes for a very, very, pocket friendly knife.

This Mini Copperhead. I like single-spring 2 blade knives and this did not disappoint in any way: grand F&F strong snap, very sharp on arrival and RR stainless retains well. Pleasant to look at and use. Good enough reasons? Let's take a look....

Their small 3" lock backs are also very well turned out, but the OP wanted spring knives so...

I got one have enjoyed all the responses. I also love my rr coal miner half hawk. I also use a rr Congress for whittling but the blades on it are almost too thin/short. Are there different sized rr Barlows?

Improved Muskrat in smooth tobacco bone. This is my ideal blade combination. I think of the full-length sheepsfoot as the primary blade.

This knife was a huge surprise. I did not think much of the smooth tobacco bone until I saw it in person. I have two. I have made gifts of a couple, but these are getting a bit thin on the ground, so my spare is not going anywhere.

I jumped on the carbon whittler on an impulse. It is pretty hefty for my pocket, as is the half hawk, which I also like. Even at 4”, thr muskrat is slim enough not to create a fuss.

Small Coke Bottle. Nice little swell-center jack that is right between the Case Peanut and Small Texas Jack. A little bigger and beefier than the Peanut but still fits in a watch pocket.

This is also my favourite RR  They did the same pattern in smooth tobacco bone, with an acorn shield, and I think that looks even better. I had a couple, but gave them away, only to see the pattern discontinued by my UK supplier :( Never mind

I have several Rough Riders and many of them have slightly annoying problems. Fit and finish is generally good, but there is a lot of inconsistency with pull -- some are too heavy and some are too light. This strawberry bone muskrat is about perfect, although the original dye job was a bit splotchy. I corrected that with some Rit.
