Fehrman Last Chance vs First Strike

Totally agreed.

NOW, what we have to do is convince Eric Fehrman that both steel performance and knife user education have improved to the point where many are not looking for 1/4" thick stock!!!

My dream knife---one of them at least---would be a Fehrman with similar dimensions to the Busse Bushwhacker Battle Mistress. I think a Fehrman in 3/16" thick stock with a 2" wide by 10" long blade, and a biggish handle would be both awesome and a great seller.

I'm in. If Mr. Fehrman makes it, I'll buy it.

Shadow scout design, slightly longer handle, 9.5 inch blade.

I will buy one.

I love the Shadow Scout! I'd definitely be down for one of those!!! :)

The Last Chance sits perfectly on the hip....and with custom leather is a perfect survival/trail knife. I couple that with either a nice ax or a larger chopper(if I'm in the batoning mood) and I have everything I need in the woods. Regarding tactical use.....I can't see how a Last Chance wouldn't stand up to anything you'd need it for; they are tough, dependable and multifaceted.
