Well it's been a tough week here and things are going to work out but today I was trying to decide if would sit around all day or just dissapear from it all for the day. I decided to use the time a little more productively. I've always wanted a Scagel but hey let's face it...they are a little spendy for a user. I decided to make this one for myself to use this hunting season. It's 1/4 5160 with a tapered tang and white micarta slabs. with the tapered tang and the blade grind it turned out to be quite light weight. I wish I had this one back when I did the mountain man reinactments. Sometimes you need asprin, sometimes money, sometimes a hug. Today the cure was grinding dust:)

Very nice knife Bill! I like a user without the extra wieght and care of bolsters or a guard.
