I was just drooling over the F2 again a few minutes ago. It's like the perfect bird, trout, and small game knife.

I think you did it perfectly. That's exactly what I was thinking. Since hands get slick with slime from fish and blood and tallow with game, and knives can slip out of hands. It would be great to have this out on the edge of the lake or in the grasses of fields in the low winter sun.

Only way it could get better is if it were stainless!

I honestly can't believe it's still available. I've considered listing my CPM F2 on the flea market so I could buy that commando one. Haha!

The A-2 is a LOT more corrosion resistant than the O-1 though. In fresh water I think it would be fine.
