This just goes to show, even on Saturday you can pick up one or even two great knives. That Monarch is one good looking knife. Congrats and welcome to the addiction!!

The long upswept edge is a bit strange and I'm trying to wrap my head around the intended tasks. At first I thought it reminded me of a Scandinavian type of knife shape, but that was more the handle. Then I kind of think it's like a short Buck 105 or maybe a Schrade sharp finger in terms of sweep, but these are not the case. I think I saw some meat cutting blades with a somewhat similar blade shape. Anyway, my plan is to get it sheathed up and then see where that takes me.

DANCAS, I think Phillip (VANCE) missed your payment question....

Payment and shipping is all done via paypal. The info is posted in the front of the thread, but here it is again.

Payment may be made to Paypal (fiddlebackpayments(at)att.net), or by personal check or MO. We hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.


Domestic US shipping is included in the price of the knife.

Just make sure you describe what you snagged.
