Here is a cool piece I recently finished :) A neat dagger I call the Final Nail. It’s made from 1/4in 5160 but tapers both ways from the shoulders. I used some camo burl G10 for the scales. Great looking stuff to my eyes! Since the design doesn’t have a guard, I sculpted the scales to keep the blade in hand. The taper in the tang also helps with this. The blade is hollow ground nice and thin so it will cut along with piercing.

I absolutely love it. That is the knife I knew you could make but had never seen.

This is 8 3/8in overall with a 4 1/8in blade. Weighing in at only 6oz :)
 
A nice size for a boot knife. My first impression from looking at the picture was that it was smaller.
