I'm interested in Chinese jian/gim and dao
double-edge straight-swords and
single-edge broadswords.
I'm thinking that perhaps there are decent blades
available that are sold with poor quality fittings.
Therefore a non-stainless, distal tapered, tempered,
fairly balanced blade at a less expensive price--
say under $75.
I'm currently remaking a Hanwei/Paul Chen 2008-GT
Practical Tai Chi and the results are rewarding.
Anyone have any ideas of which other makers/brands
might fit these criterea.
