My first unusual looking skinner, I cannot see why it should not work..

Are you going to put scales on it? What made you go with the cut out on the spine? Cool blade shape.

Dimensions of length, thickness and, most particularly width would be a big help. ;)

Yes I have scales ready now.
I have made this to the spec request ed by a deer hunter who says he does not want it to slip out of his hand.

I will post knife when finished.

I’ve skinned a lot of deer and that looks like it will do just fine with the belly on it.

Similar to this 4.25" Gerber skinner from 1969. I like my knife here except for the finger guard. Your design might address this issue:

Here is my first little beauty skinner which I am proud of., I am improving.

Unfortunately I lack the stamina when it comes to polishing blades, this is the best Ihave ever done.

8.75 inches o/a length, 4 inch length blade

Unsure if this is 1075 or 1080 steel.

The handle is one I have used a few times for a good grip.

I am using ceramic belts on my 4x36 which I believe has her[ed.

In 2.5 years I have nakkud 2 4x36

ALL my cash in goes to Mac so I am flexible with my prices, I take low sales rather than miss out.

I got a half leather sheet music case at car boot last Sunday for £4 so leather costs nowt.

I love doing this but without forum help I would never have made any decent ones at all.

Thank you all
