Last nights dinner reminded me of the title of another thread here with a slight rename.

From Russia with plov

Plov is an Uzbek rice pilaf often made with lamb. This version was made with beef. It is common in Russia, though often made with more rice.
The knife is a little bit more common in the states, a burlap micarta Buck 110.
