Food & Traditional Knives

Jack, even thought I wish POSH were my middle name, I try not to be alarmed by food, and am shocked that Tool Man was alarmed by triangular cake! 🤓 I've seen some photos you've taken of him approaching a monster sandwich in a manner that puts his jaws at risk of dislocation, and that's something one does NOT have to fear if a sandwich is dissected into numerous triangles. Those triangles let one approach a sandwich from 3 different directions at acute angles that don't tax the jaw at all!

Your cheeseburger (and corn) look good; it's been far too long since I've had a cheeseburger, in or out of Paradise!

He wasn't alarmed enough to reject it Gary! 🙄🤣 Thanks my friend, been a while since I had one too 🙂👍

A lil fishing:

My wife was away Wednesday through Friday last week, so I stopped at a Chinese restaurant as I walked home from campus that Thursday afternoon and ordered Hunan pork (medium spicy, with a carton of fried rice).

I chopped up some green onion tops and asparagus to add to the Hunan pork, mixed in some fried rice, and found an old beer in the back of the fridge:

I ate half of what was in the bowl Thursday evening and had the other half Friday evening. By adding various vegetables to supplement the restaurant order, I was able to replicate the experience on Saturday and Sunday, and on Monday and Tuesday. (I have NO problem eating essentially the same type of meal many days in a row.) Six suppers from a $15 Chinese food order really stretched my retirement dollar!

Don't invite Kevin Bridges round Gary (only click on that link if the kids are out of the room, and you speak full-throated Glaswegian!)! ;) No chance of stretching the Thai I had for lunch I'm afraid! :(
