  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Forged In Fire

Another episode, another group of testing not done. Shame.

I doubt they do another redemption episode after this (at least using people who were all eliminated in round 1).

If they do another redemption episode I hope Ray Kirk is on it. He has been the most entertaining contestant yet and I believe he would do very well. I was a bit surprised by the results of this episode. I had JD picked as favored, he made the cut and restack of his billet look so smooth. Just proves the time limit and pressure of the show are tough circumstances.

Hoooooly crap Storm Crow good luck! :]

I love seeing faces and names of maker's I'm familiar with. James: Good on you!

I just got a promotional email from Josh Smith: He'll be on TONIGHT 4/11 for a return appearance.

Thanks, guys!

They're now showing commercials for my episode (next Tuesday, 8:00 CST), and it's interesting to see myself on the TV screen. The cuts are edited so quickly, that by the time I realize I'm looking at myself, I'm already off the screen. :D

It should be an entertaining episode.

Tomorrow night! (Tuesday, April 18, 8:00 CST)

Here's the episode description:

"For the first time ever, the competitors are challenged with creating not one, but two blades in the first round. With double the pressure and double the work, the bladesmiths are pushed to their limits, which leads to another first–a hospital trip. After a grueling second round, the two remaining smiths have just five days to create an iconic 15th century combat sword–the Katzbalger. Which bladesmith has what it takes to burn through the obstacles in their way and become the next Forged in Fire champion?"
