Free download, CCleaner...

Nice little util to get rid of the junk & all those little history files, here's a link from the firewall forum by one of my fellow mods. one of our featured third party products.

i use webroot window washer myself, a similar product that came out prior to ccleaner, but i've installed & tried ccleaner on other pc's with great success. can't beat the price!

my condolences, ah, well, your next mac will probably be an intel based one & come with windows vista OS & you can enter the wonderful world of computing for real then. you will be glad apple has seen the light!
 
CCleaner is an outstanding utility. I have been using it for quite some time.

It does a great job in cleaning up your registry as well as all of the other crap that gets left behind. It also removes programs very efficiently.

I also use Cleansweep from Norton and CCleaner works better.:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
I use CCleaner and it works very well. Very fast. I find I don't really need to run Ad-aware or Spybot now. YMMV of course. :)
