Hello all. I have a limited edition Buck Strider 889 LE with ironwood scales LNIB. Found this description on another site: "This amazing knife was a Limited production knife of 2006. The original number was supposed to be 1000 made, but there was only about 200-300 made, making this certainly the most rare Buck Strider ever. It is in mint condition and comes in the original box with black distressed leather sheath, and the Certificate of Authenticity. COA states: "This Limited Edition 889 Ironwood Folder features a 420HC Mirror Polished blade with an ironwood handle. It comes with a black, distressed leather sheath."
The knife is no. 313 of 1000 (so at least 313 were made.) It has never been used or carried, bought it at the same brick and mortar, fondled it, put it back in the box and went in the drawer. Lock up at about 30-40% and good centering, appears to pull slightly to the left, but not even close to rubbing the liner. Comes in box with COA and leather belt sheath. (Close up of blade has a reflection on it, nothing wrong with blade.) $295.00
