This knife can be operated both auto or manual. Auto function can be locked out by turning the deployment button with the accompanying Microtech "key". Almost indistinguishable from new overall condition. S35-VN blade is centered. Zero play in any direction. No lock stick. No nicks, chips or rolls on original Microtech edge. There is one tiny tiny "ding" on the aluminum scale. You can see it in the blown up pic of blade centering. In "real life", it's practically invisible to the naked eye. All the proprietary hardware is in perfect shape. Comes with knife, "key", MT sheath, Maintenance card and 2011 Operating Instructions, NO BOX. This knife won "most Innovative American Design" at 2011 Blade Show.
