All,
We are relocating from NE Ohio to Florida at the end of the month and I need to cut loose all of my knife making equipment and a shop full of other equipment. I am putting together a package deal for the knife making side for a smokin' price.
I am fine with PM's or emails but the fastest way to talk will be text. I will most likely not be around the computer a lot this weekend. 330-992-9692
Terms:
I will not separate the package
You must come get everything by Saturday July 24th (Zip code 44429)
You must have help. I am focused on getting other things ready for the move.
Not everything shown in the pictures is included, it's a big shop and quite a mess right now. I guarantee you will get everything listed and a lot more. I am not looking to make money, I am looking to make someone a great deal and in turn help me get rid of a lot of stuff at once.
I have a number of tools you may be interested in as well. Happy to discuss them with anyone interested in the knife making equipment, I will give excellent prices to the person buying the knife shop. These include a floor standing jointer, Older Delta drill press with a solid plate steel work table, integrated dust collection and a legit $500 USA Made Jacobs Chuck, other sanders, handheld power tools, a new DeWalt sliding compound miter saw etc..
Knifemaking Equipment Package:
KMG Grinder with 3HP/3Ph Baldor Motor, Teco VFD, two solid tooling arms and 1 hollow tooling arm, I believe a 10", 8", 4", 3" and I think a couple of 2" contact wheels, Industrial foot pedal, Small Wheel Adapter with several small wheels, couple of platens, work table, horizontal work table, stand, belt rack, and probably more I'm missing
I have a lot of grinder belts not shown, not sure how many exactly but it's several dozen, most new and unused
Delta Dust collector (not shown) and bucket system that sits under grinder
3 burner forge with stand, high pressure regulator and two large propane tanks
Anvil, I believe it's an Atlas from the late 1800's and weighs about 280# if I remember right. It's sitting on a box filled with oiled paver sand.
3 small work anvils, the name of them escapes me, they are hanging on the wall by the propane tanks
Blacksmith leg vise in perfect condition, made in 1817 in Pittsburgh if I remember right
Solid steel layout table I used for setting hot knives and tools
Large D2 shear blade that's about 3" thick, I used it for hot cutting
Hammer rack with many hammers, tongs and forging tools
Evenheat heat treat oven with fast and slow quench tanks (both about 12-13 gallons) and McMaster-Carr quenchant
Supply shelf with tray organizers full of hardware, pin stock, bushings
4 drawer supply cabinet with shorter forging rounds, stag crowns, pre-cut knife blanks and other misc accessories
8' long stainless industrial table
High temperature thermostat with probe (shown by steel rack)
Full supply of virgin knife steel, over 15 bars of 1/4" 1084 from Aldo about 13 years ago, 15-20 bars of 1/8" 1084 from Admiral, many W1 and O-1 forging rounds, some ATS34 and a lot of pin stock and low carbon stainless
20-30 pieces of Micarta and G-10 in many sizes and thicknesses ranging from small blocks to 2'x3' sheets, even have some Corian tiles
Large work bench with integrated electromagnetic vise and a number of jigs to clamp down to it.
20 ton press for stamping makers mark
A variety of knife making related accessories not listed or shown, trust me, there'll be bonus items as I got through things
I get a little acidic tickle in my throat when I think about what's invested here, I have over $5k in the KMG along, heck the motor for it was $1800.. but like I said, it all needs to go
$3900 firm for everything listed (and more).
