Gayle Bradley 1 discontinued

As much as I despise knives with an occluded Spydie hole and no real access to the liner lock (ala the GB1), I still might not be able to withstand the subtle Siren Song beckoning me to buy this knife. Mr. Sal is quite sneaky in this regard. He makes knives to which I cannot say no.

Glad I picked up my third one on the exchange for a song.(sold the last two) I'll be keeping this one.

I preordered the GB2 so it'll be nice to compare the two, I do think I'll probably like the new one a bit more though as its a lot lighter.

The obstructed spydie hole never really bothered me. I have no issues spydie-flicking the Southard and the Slysz, just takes takes some practice.

I really like the refined look of the GB2. I always was bothered by how the blade tang protruded past the scales when folded.
 
Just ordered mine. Been pining for it for almost a year. Recently came into some money that was extra and my wife said order it since my birthday is coming up. Gotta love a woman that understands my wants.

I hear ya on that. I've also been wanting this knife for at least a year, since I got into knives. I told my girlfriend they were discontinuing the knife and she was like, "go for it". Took me about 30 seconds to press the buy it now button, lol.

Mine showed up this week. I too had been coveting this knife for a long time. Bit the bullet because I wanted a new one, and not a used one down the road.
