I’m not sure if it’s just me but I haven’t been able to find a GB2 new really anywhere. It’s not even available on Spyderco’s website. I don’t remember ever seeing it being discontinued, curious if I should hop on one on the secondary market or wait for a new run where I can get my military discount.
 
It’s definitely not discontinued (as of today). Patience and it will return.
 
I'm hoping they will produce the bolstered version Sal has had at the last couple knife shows. CLASSY!
 
Apparently, yes. I signed up on a couple "waiting lists", where they say "email me" when available.
Sure enough, Knives Plus emailed me two weeks ago, I responded, and they mailed me the knife the same day.
You snooze, you loose, though; by the time I posted that here, they were gone.
A couple other reputable knife dealers have the same "email me" waiting list.
