Photos GEC Patterns Comparison

Two very dissimilar GECs that happen to have similar handles and similar “numbers”.

H73 fixed blade and 73L folder.

Lovely! It would be great if they did another run of the bolstered bird and trout H73 sometime soon. Maybe ebony handles?

The #71 and H20 have very similar blades, but different handle shapes.

Nice pic! I agree.

I really like my 71 and my H20.

Funny timing, I just gifted a NIT red linen Micarta 71 to a coworker this morning!

The H20 I have is beeswax Micarta with a muskrat clip. I've had it a couple years now, With lots of kitchen use. I just got a NOS GEC made sheath for it from the store case when I was there a few weeks back, so I can use it outside the kitchen more easily.

Could someone show and 47 & 93 comparison?
(I've got a 47 and 93s are in production now.)

Both happen to be on the coffee table. The 93 is the 2019 Ram Foot (933119), not the new releases. Compared with Spring Street Forum Knife (861121). Have a few other 86 versions, Black Jack and some 2AB versions in tubes, not the 2019 Forum Knife, if you would like any pics of those, I can dig out.

Near in size, the 93 has a slight sway back and the feel is thinner in hand.

Thank you! I figured they had some slight differences.

I think you may have nearly broken the thread with this shock and awe winner. 🤣

To be fair, there was no 91 in 2018. Here’s what was missing from the photo at the time: 21, 28, 42, 45, 61, 63, 64, 65

I’m pretty sure I’ve owned every pattern except the Lady Leg, and, as you correctly guessed, a 91!
Granted he we don’t know state of his collection post 2018. He may have slowed WAY down after this 😂
Not necessarily slowed down, but taken a different direction. If I had to do it over again, this is the collection I would have stuck with, though.

I still have a good deal of these knives around, but a few I’m afraid I won’t be replacing anytime soon…
