Giant Forest, Sequoia NP

My son and daughter-in-law are moving to Texas next week and she wanted to see some real trees before she left. Giant Forest is about 60 miles from our house and she convinced me to go there. Let me tell you, it took a lot of arm-twisting.

It was a beautiful day to be out. The temp was quite mild because the grove is 7000' higher than where I live, around 70, which is a nice change from the hot valley.
