It's not over, it's delayed. My financial situation is very crappy right now, yes, but everything is still boxed up and waiting to go. Thanks for your concern though.

And quite rightly so. No one (yourself included) has suffered any financial loss as a result of the giveaway and yet you (in spite of the fact you were not part of the giveaway) have found it necessary to come back to this thread every now and then to make personal attacks or make insinuations about a generous person's character and integrity in a time when he is having financial and health problems. I find this disgusting -- though I must say that I learn more about YOUR character rather than the OP's as a result of your posts.

If there is misuse of freedom of speech in an open and public forum I think this is it. Shame on you.

Indeed. Though it's been a while here, all of us that have won something from the giveaway have been more than patient. It's rather interesting that Mr. Wally is the only one in a tizzy over it. :confused:

Yep. No rush here. I forgot about it for a while actually, but just decided to bump it up to see what happened. Didnt mean to stir anything up.
 
J (the OP) does not owe us anything. He has been generous and kind to all, and spoken ill of none. I happen to be one of the winners in this give-away, and I do not care whether I ever get a knife. I am not entitled to a prize; it is J's to keep or give as he chooses, and he does not need to explain his reasons to anyone. Just being able to interact on this forum with such a gentleman is more than reward enough.

Take good care of yourself, J, and do not give this matter another thought. You are square by me, bro; you owe me nothing. Do what you need to do to take care of yourself, knowing that we are on your side.

Oh, and Wally, I sympathize with you hurt feelings about getting "beat up" on this thread. Here is some friendly advice; SUFF A SOCK IN IT!
 
Country Rat...My feelings are never hurt when I exchange "factual information" about knives on this forum, but thanks for the advice anyway.
