Gloves in the outdoors

I hate gloves but have to have sensitive gloves so for the first time in my life I have to use them. So far it is medium leather gloves that were overshipments from my last job. Really interested in kangaroo leather for the future.

I carry Polartec fingerless gloves w/ leather palms in my pack, along with a pair of surgical gloves. In most conditions the polartec is sufficient for warmth without losing dexterity. When it rains or gets cold, the surgical gloves go underneath as a liner.

I carry a pair of heavy Wells Lamont leather gloves. Very nice for protecting my hands while batonning wood and great for tending the fire.
