I purchased a Smock Spyderco awhile ago and the Smocks recently came out with new custom scales for the knife. I ordered a set and received them Friday. I set about to work changing them out.
Well…… my old eyes and shaking hands did me a disservice and I lost the detent ball and also couldn’t get the knife back together. I messaged Tracie and very quickly received a message back that they would replace the detent ball and put the knife back together for me only for shipping costs! This is a Spyderco knife! I didn’t expect this! Not sure what I expected at the time I just was disappointed and needed help.
Highly recommend The Smocks and dealing with them. Great folks and very customer oriented.
