If it sells well enough, there's a chance they'll release a G-10 model down the road. Or you could just get one and buy aftermarket G-10 scales which might end up being cheaper than buying a similar configuration from Benchmade.
 
Man, there’s no way you’re going to convince BM to switch. It would cut into their bottom line. If there’s enough demand, they’ll be more than happy to sell you an extra $.50 of material and $.60 of machining costs for a a cheap $100 over base price😉

I don’t mean to sound like a hater, I’ve been carrying Benchmade for over 25 years, still have the first one I bought along with about 40 others. But their pricing model has gone off the deep end.
