Good morning Guardians. The widow next door is getting a new roof installed. My wife are being serenaded morning noon and evening with the racket of hammers, etc. Oh joy!
Now they are parking their trucks in from of my home and walking across my lawn. Jeez! Well the good news is that they will be done in just a few days. So hot and humid too - I don't know how they can stand working on a roof that is shingled in black. Ghads!
Time to get my LF knives out and do some cleaning, sharpening and oiling. Got my HHB in hand to make my day better.
I feel for your Bill
I had a similar situation about 15 years ago, had scaffolding bolts bouncing off my front door-step!
The gaffer was a clever dick when, so I told him if he didn't put up some safety netting by the end of the day, I'd get the job shut down
Hope you manage to have a pleasant day with your Barlow
alas, a different time, next time im in town, let me know how far you can trek, and ill make the rest of the trip!
It would be great to see you Jack, keep me posted
Thanks Steve
Good morning Guardians !
It going to be brutal here today. Calling for 94ยฐ with a dew point of close to 70
C.J. Johnson Today
That sounds VERY brutal Steve!
Keep flying the Flag buddy
Frustrated to have lost an entire post during
Migration 2 (The Revenge) I doubt that's all that's been lost if things are true to form
I hope everyone is having a good day
I was hoping to post some more chip butty content here today, but with the site locked, that's not been possible. Bad timing from my point of view
I thought I should go and explore one of those $15 chip butties at the yuppie cafe up the road, but when I arrived there, well before 2.30pm, the waitress gave me a menu, and then told me the kitchen was already closed!
They don't open until 10am either, so they can shove their $15 chip butty!
I'm going to post and retire, before the site goes offline again. Have a great Yorkshire Day tomorrow Guardians
